Artist's Reception Tonight in the Jan Rutland Memorial Art Space at the National Bottle Museum! Our Summer 2025 Open Call Showcase includes over 100 pieces of art from 30 local artists. We have it all: photography, alcohol ink pieces, dye on paper, watercolors, oils, acrylics, mixed media pieces, metal statuary, gouache, and pen & ink work. The artists' reception for the Summer 2025 Open Call Show is Saturday, August 23 from 2-4pm. Come out and meet the artists and talk to them about their work. Light refreshments will be served.
Blue Star Families will receive free entry to the museum and receive a free "orphan" bottle. At 2 PM, Chris Leonard, the Executive Director of the National Bottle Museum will give a talk on "Bottles & the Military" including early glass canteens from the Civil War era through bottles produced to support the World War...
