The Summer 2023 Open Call Show will be on display at the JRM Artists’ Space from July 22, 2023 until September 16, 2023.
This year, the Open Call Show features 36 different regional artists, bringing together over 130 works of art. Mediums on display include acrylic, alcohol ink, collage, giclee, gouache, mixed media, oil, pastel, photography, stoneware, watercolor, and woodblock print.
2023 also marks the 15th Anniversary of the JRM Artists’ Space itself. Since the first show in August 2008, the Artists’ Space has been a showcase of regional art, featuring regularly changing exhibits in myriad styles and mediums.
A reception is currently planned for August 26, 2-4pm. Not only will this reception offer the opportunity to view the work on display and congratulate the artists on their work, but it will also serve as a celebration of the Artists’ Space milestone anniversary here in Ballston Spa.
The JRM Artists’ Space is located on the second floor of the National Bottle Museum, at 76 Milton Ave, Ballston Spa, NY, 12020. It is open Wednesday through Saturdays from 10:00-4:00, during regular museum hours.
The National Bottle Museum is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization chartered by the Board of Regents of the New York State Education Department. Their mission is to preserve, research, and exhibit bottles and objects related to bottle making and to educate the public regarding the historical importance of the bottle industry and its economic and socio-cultural impacts on the daily lives of Americans across the country. The JRM Artists’ Space supports the Bottle Museum and its on-going mission.
